The pyrotechnic industry for a long time has focused on the Persons With Specialist Knowledge qualifications and ensuring suitable insurance, but this is only a small part of the principles that make a great pyrotechnic organisation.
Safety is paramount. We champion the 'N+1' safety standard, urging companies to always go a step beyond the necessary safety requirements. This principle fosters a culture of proactive safety enhancement, setting a higher benchmark for industry practices.
We mandate a structured approach towards achieving and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This includes having designated processes or personnel committed to customer contentment and obtaining verifiable positive reviews. Additionally, our members are expected to work in harmony with venues, ensuring their reputations are respected and preserved.
Companies must align with either the BPA or Illuminate Consult accreditation for specialists in Category F4 fireworks. For those not yet accredited, we require an in-house training program, complete with documented records of crew completion, ensuring a standardised level of expertise and knowledge within the industry.
Our members are tasked with upholding both environmental integrity and ethical supply chain standards. This dual responsibility involves protecting ecological sites where they operate and adhering to environmentally conscious practices. Concurrently, they must ensure their supply chains are ethical, actively preventing modern slavery and respecting the rights and dignity of all individuals involved in their operations.
